Sarakshi Rai is the Director of Audience Development and Head of Social Media at The Hill. At the Hill, Sarakshi leads the team that oversees content strategy, analytics, social media and SEO for the leading political news outlet in the US. She has led digital transformation at both legacy and startup news organizations, leveraging her skills in editorial strategy, audience engagement and data analysis. She has worked in newsrooms across the U.K, India, UAE and the U.S.

Sarakshi moved to the US in 2020 and began working for The Hill after receiving a second Master's degree from the University of Delaware. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Mumbai and a Master’s in International Journalism from City, University of London.
